Step 1. Register “Personal QR Code”
Entry-level people install and use the PC-Covid application to generate a “Personal QR Code”. In case people entering the country cannot use the PC-Covid application, they can access the Ho Chi Minh City COVID-19 Safety Portal at https://antoan-covid.tphcm.gov.vn to create " Personal QR code” (this QR code is a unified QR code with the PC-Covid system).
Step 2. Screening test for SARS-CoV-2 for people on entry immediately after entry
+ If the test result is positive: Take the RT-PCR sample, immediately notify the City Center for Disease Control to coordinate with the City 115 Emergency Center to transfer the imported person to a field hospital. COVID-19 treatment number 12 for isolation and treatment.
+ If the test result is negative: Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the airline will guide the entry to the checkpoint to carry out the procedures to leave the airport and return to the place of residence.
Step 3. Move to your accommodation
During the process of moving from the border gate of entry to the place of residence, people on entry must strictly comply with 5K regulations.
Means of picking up people on entry only include drivers and people on entry; Other cases when picking up people on entry are not allowed to sit in the same vehicle as the people on entry (except for the case that the entry is a foreigner who needs to be accompanied by an interpreter).
Step 4. Monitor your health everyday
Comply with the quarantine period at the place of residence as prescribed:
- For those entering the country who have received a full dose of vaccine or recovered from COVID-19: self-monitor their health, do not come into contact with people around, and must not leave the place of residence within 03 days after entry.
- For those entering the country who have not been vaccinated or have not received enough doses of COVID-19 vaccine: quarantine at the place of residence for 07 days from the date of entry.
- For people entering the country under 18 years of age (hereinafter referred to as children), persons aged 65 years or older (hereinafter referred to as the elderly), pregnant women, people with underlying medical conditions (but not monitoring and treatment at medical facilities): isolated with parents/carers (hereinafter referred to as caregivers). The caregiver must have had a full dose of COVID-19 vaccine or recovered from COVID-19 and must sign a commitment to voluntarily self-isolate after being explained about the risks of COVID-19 infection; must strictly comply with the requirements on testing and regulations on prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic like those on entry.
Step 5. Take RT-PCR test samples for people on entry during the medical isolation period at the place of residence
- In case the test result is negative for SARS-CoV-2, continue to monitor health until the end of 14 days from the date of entry.
- In case the test result is positive: The testing unit reports to the City Center for Disease Control to coordinate the sample to the Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City for gene sequencing; At the same time, notify the Health Center of Thu Duc district, city where the patient is isolated to transport the person on entry to the field hospital for treatment of COVID-19 (if the patient has no symptoms or has no symptoms). mild symptoms) or Hospital for Tropical Diseases (if the patient shows signs of respiratory failure).
