On June 1, 2025, as part of their official visit to Vietnam, a delegation of medical experts from the Nièvre Regional Hospital Center (Republic of France) visited and worked with the Oriental Medical Complex, marking an important milestone in the journey of expanding international cooperation to improve healthcare quality in Vietnam.

The delegation toured Oriental General Hospital and the Oriental Asahi Resort—Nursing Complex and gained a comprehensive understanding of the operating model. From modern facilities to standardized treatment procedures to a patient-centered orientation, the Oriental Medical System left a deep impression on the international partners.
More than just a visit, the bilateral working session included extensive professional exchanges, scientific research, human resources training, and especially long-term strategic cooperation orientations.
MOU Signing Ceremony: A Foundation for Medical Technology Transfer & Healthcare Workforce Training

One of the key highlights of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Oriental Medical Complex and the city of Nevers (France). The MOU opens up opportunities for in-depth cooperation in areas such as cardiovascular intervention, thoracic surgery, emergency intensive care, and treatment of complex cases.
Both sides agreed to implement bilateral treatment activities in Vietnam and France, and simultaneously promote clinical training: from sending Oriental doctors to France for study, to inviting French experts to lecture directly in Vietnam or via online platforms.
Acknowledging the importance of digital transformation in healthcare, the two parties will jointly develop a cross-border teleconsultation system, enabling doctors from both countries to jointly assess and determine the optimal treatment plan. This solution not only helps Vietnamese patients quickly access international expertise but also significantly reduces the cost and time of treatment abroad.
